It was a great turnout tonight!! Thank you for coming out to kick off another amazing school year at Cleora! We want to make sure you saw our 2 big announcements, so here they are: 1- We will have a bond issue in January so we can expand our building to add classrooms & other learning areas all due to continued student growth! We loved hearing all the positive feedback and support you gave tonight!! Remember, there will NOT be a tax increase with this.👍🏼 2- All students will eat FREE for breakfast & lunch this year!! We are blessed and excited to be able to offer this again! Thank you!

Our Coaches will be hosting a Cardinal Athletics Parent meeting on Tuesday evening in the gym after our Back To School Night. If you have a student in grades 3-8, that will be participating in any sport this year, attendance is mandatory. The meeting will begin after Back To School Night ends at 6:30 pm. Good afternoon Cardinal Families! We are a little over a month away from the new school year. Now is a good time to get your child's immunizations updated, dentist visits in, and any other necessary appointments completed before school starts. Don't forget, all 7th graders must have an updated immunization record. If you have questions about this, please call our office and we will be happy to assist. Our Summer School Academy begins Monday for those students who signed up. It runs Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The bus will leave school at 7:00 am to begin its route the first day. Times will vary & but will be adjusted after the first day.

Here are a few reminders for you: *Tomorrow is Mr. Guthrie's Cookout starting at 11:00 a.m. followed by our Student Talent show starting at 1:00 p.m. *All pre-purchased yearbooks have been delivered. If you didn't preorder, you can purchase/order one through our office. We have a limited number of additional yearbooks being produced and on their way soon. *Thursday our 8th grade will be doing a service project for our community by picking up trash along some Cleora roads. If you see them, be sure to give them a friendly honk of appreciation! *Friday is the last day of school and students will begin their summer break at the conclusion of our ceremonies! Cleora School has a surplus bus for sale through a sealed bid process. It is a 2009 International Diesel school bus being sold as is. This is a reminder for those students who qualified for the spring semester Reading Reward. The luncheon is tomorrow. Please dress appropriately for this occasion. Thank you and have an enjoyable evening!

Here are a couple of important dates to add to your calendar. May 8th: Cookout Lunch and Talent Show. Mr. Guthrie will be grilling hot dogs & hamburgers for everyone starting at 11:00. Come have lunch with your child and stick around for the Cleora's Got Talent show at 1:00 pm. May 10th: Graduation/Awards Ceremony. The event begins at 8:30 am with Kindergarten Graduation, followed by the Awards Assembly, & then ends with the 8th Grade Graduation. It is also the last day of school & summer break begins!!

We have some VERY IMPORTANT information and dates for you. * Some of our State Testing has started and all of our students will be testing next week. It is vital that students receive a good night's rest, are in attendance & on time each day, and have eaten a good breakfast or arrive to school in time to receive their free breakfast. * PreK & Kindergarten early enrollment is now open for next school year. Stop by the office to pick up a packet or call the office with questions. Current students do not need to reenroll at this time. * May 10 is our last day. It is also our Awards Ceremony and the Graduation for Kindergarten and 8th Grade. Festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. Have a good evening!
