The annual Cherokee Nation Angel Project is now accepting applications online only through the Gadugi Portal until Nov. 10. To complete applications, Cherokee Nation citizens must be registered on the Gadugi Portal. You can access the application by signing into the Gadugi Portal at https://gadugiportal.cherokee.org/ and selecting “Applications” from the top blue navigation bar. From the Applications page, select “Angel Project” from the list of available programs. After selecting the application, income guidelines and other eligibility requirements will be provided. The Cherokee Nation Angel Project assists eligible Cherokee children, under the age of 16, who fall within low-income guidelines and reside within the Cherokee Nation Reservation. Cherokee citizens who apply for the Angel Project must provide:
- Proof of income
- Proof of residency
- A photo identification
- Tribal citizenship cards for all children
- Children’s clothing sizes
- Children’s gift ideas When applying, applicants will also be able to choose a gift pick-up location from a drop-down menu.
