Sixth Grade
My first two years of teaching were spent teaching Chapter I Math at Salina, Oklahoma. I graduated from Grove High School in 1979. I attended Claremore Jr. College, N.E.O. , Arkansas, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State. I have also been a bus driver for many years.
I enjoy competitive crappie fishing, hiking, backpacking and woodcarving. I am also co-owner of Catfish John's in Grove. I have two boys Bryson and Jayson who enjoy doing some of these things with me.
I constructed a mile long trail, bridge, rain garden, outdoor classroom, cross country trail, and a dock on the pond. These were built to keep kids in touch with nature. Each year my students build bird houses which are added along the trail. Students are showing great interest in helping build and maintain the trail and outdoor habitats.
